Dear friends, kengkawan...

I am leaving Brisbane for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. Am not sure whether I am able to update this blog (will try my very best to).

I have one day workshop today, in between have to run down to Budget Car Rental to rent a car. Then, send the car home and rush back to the workshop. Have last minute packing to do tonight.
Try to see you before taking off tomorrow. Pray for a safe journey for us. Until next time, take care all. Cya.

Finale: A bag full of junk food..yeah

Hahaha... one bag full of junk foods, fats and sugar.... Let's make them fat like us nyeh nyeh nyeh....



Yup, we finally packed our bags. We bought loads of Doritos and Smiths for our relatives. Need to get that "Fragile" sticker for the bag. Otherwise they will eat crumbs instead of chips :D.

My PDA is full with travel agenda while I am in Malaysia. Have to visit my bro and my new nephew, my uncle (recently diagnosed with cancer), my sistah (of cos a must) and not forgetting my in-laws. Ooohhh my MIL was diagnosed with cervical cancer pulak. Earlier this year she was cleared of any tumour at her small intestines (that she suffered last year). Cancereous has become normal occurence nowadays ye....gerun...

I also need to meet some people regarding my research. And also meeting some friends who have been for long pestering us to meet (wakakakka...sorry la kawan, just to emphasis je) ok ok...we too can't wait to see them. Jom ngeteh, korang belanja ekk..wakakaka

Tomorrow, I will be attending a workshop for the whole day. 1 more day to go yippie.

It is all about chicken last week

For me, preparing chicken dish is more easier compare to meat or fish or seafood. And it is delicious too. Do you know that atang can eat chicken everyday? His old time fav is ayam masak pedas (Chicken with pounded chillies), but I am lazy when it comes to pounding the chillies (yup, I am old fashion, would prefer pounding than using the blender). Fortunately he loves other recipe too, especially Ayam Halia (Ginger chicken) and Ayam Kunyit (Turmeric chicken). Whenever I cooked these two meals, it always reminds me of our young days, when we were courting. Atang can eat the same dish for the whole week. Like 7 days of Ayam Halia. ahahaha Sometimes even more. There were many times, before he can even open his mouth to order his meal, I quickly cut in and ordered Ayam Halia for him...ahahahahah.... It is so typical of him. But makes my job easier too.

So since he loves these recipes sooo much, I have mastered them (chewah). And last week, we had 3 chicken meals.



(It would be nice if I have pineapple to add into this meal)

Eat this with Nasi Lemak ... all I can say is ..... yummy :p

Friends, I need a favor from you

Dear friends,

How bad is swine flu in Malaysia? I am referring to the government's information or steps taken to curb this disease in Malaysia, generally about visitors arriving from overseas. Can you please provide me with all the information that I need to be aware of. My mom is getting worry, afraid that we will be kept somewhere upon arrival, and with me going off to India in just a couple of days after arriving Malaysia, my mom is getting so restless laaaa...aiyooo

FYI, kat sini relax aje wehh... everything is under control, though the government is taking whatever precaution to prevent spreading or reducing the case, but the public are well inform, but most important thing is, they do not panic. We go about with our daily routine, sneezing, coughing and runny nose is common during winter. So difficult to isolate normal cold and flu with swine flu. I guess being well informed what makes people here to not panic easily.

So friends, please keep me up to date about the situation in Malaysia. Just throw me anything you have. Appreciate your help.

A matrimony story

Remember my friend from Brunei, Halida. I have wrote a couple of stories about our farewell lunch at the end of last year. Click here and here, if you want to read those stories laa.

Halida is now back home, serving for her country. I have been trying to write her an email for a long time after she went home, but I kept on postponing it. I knew she is getting married in June. What a terrible me!! Well, I don't know, I used to send email to friends frequently, exchanging story. But nowadays, I guess because of tremendous tasks to complete, or maybe have nothing interesting to share, afraid that I end up writing just a single line, "apa khabar?", "sihat?", "well, everything is the same", "up and down", wakakakakka... or maybe it is just me.

Anyway, I finally able to write something, in particular, congratulating Halida on her marriage, and click on the send button. Hoping she is not mad or something for not hearing from me. And a few days after that, she replied, with her matrimony story. She is now Puan Halida...ahahahah... and she even sent me some pictures of her happy moment. So sweet of her to share them with me. I asked her permission to post it here. Look how happy she is. And I am soooo happy for her.



To Halida, I know you read my blog occasionally. Thanks for visiting me virtually haha. CONGRATULATIONS dear. My dua is with you. Semoga Allah sentiasa lindungi perkahwinan kalian ya dan dimurahkan rezeki, semoga ramai junior nanti..ahahahahah.... Hope both of you live happily ever after.
