Chinatown and Halal Butcher

Last Saturday, off we went to Chinatown to get our monthly supply of meat. Atang is craving for oxtail soup. We have been out of oxtail supply for over 2 months. The cold of the winter has made the craving more uncontrollable (exaggerate of coz). But first I need to get dried chillies from yuen..and some momies...and some maggi kari n asam laksa...and some jelly...hahahha..so much of the shopping list yaa... still can't fight this "impromptu grabbing without looking at the list" thing.


Yuen's owner originate from Perak maa... but the offspring couldnt speak Malay lor...

Flea market...every Saturday..outside McWhirters...I havent got the chance to look around..

Unfortunately...there are no oxtails....aiyah... takde rezeki la atang.... lain kali kite datang lagi ye... so we must go to that fund raising lucheon laaa.... heheheh got sup tulang some more.....

how do i get here from Griffth University, Nathan campus? Im new in Brisbane.

Hi lola, welcome to Brisbane. I can't give you a good direction coz I have never been to Nathan campus. But you can find direction to the Valley (or Fortitude Valley) at Brisbane Transport. You can either take the bus to the city or the train. Hope this helps.
