Introduction: This sequel is about the progress that adik is making in developing her communication skill. Currently, adik has expand her vocabulary by picking up words from her surrounding. Now is the phase that mama n babah have to be more careful with words, try to avoid saying bad words (especially babah, he likes to use bad words when he is angry with something, usually when he is loosing in the PS's game that he was playing). Adik can now convey her needs more clearly. If she can't explain or say what she wants properly, getting a question mark face from me, she would simply say, "tuu...tuu.. (itu)..." and then grab my hand and take me to the location of that wanted thing. She recently can argue on certain things. Check out these two scenarios:
Scene 1: Adik is playing PS with her beloved sistah. One thing for sure is, it's difficult to ask adik to stop playing the game, she will without fail make a tantrum by crying out loud and screaming and insists that I carry her around for the rest of the day. Adoiyaaaaa.... bergayut aje la nanti....But one day, she was a little bit smart... As usually adik n kakak were playing PS in their room, while babah was playing with his PS at the living room.
Babah: Adik...sudah la tu...dah lame dah...
Adik: OK... (but she kept on playing)
Babah: Kakak...dah tu, stop please!!
Kakak: OK babah...
Adik: Noooooooo!!!
Kakak: Dah la adik....
Adik: Nooooooooo!! Adik nak main game....
Kakak: Sudah!!!
Babah: Dah tu adik...esok boleh main lagi
Adik: (she started a tantrum by screaming and crying) Noooooooo!!!
Then adik got up, and ran out of the room to the living room.... she stopped at the hall that separate the living room from the bedrooms... then she said..
Adik: Tengok tu, babah main lagi!!!
Then she ran back to the room and continue playing.... hhahahahahhha.... apo den nak kato... layor buruk anak den sorang nih....
Moral for us: Please set a good example to the kids. Susah kalau ada loyar buruk dlm family nih!!
Scene 2: Kakak has always been the princess in the family. This is because she likes feminine, girly things, such as dolls, children makeup and jewellery things, etc. Adik on the other hand was a bit agressive, favors boy's things like trains and cars, until recently when she showed her interest on her kakak's barbie dolls. So both of them are now regularly fighting over the dolls almost everyday. So one day, kakak was getting tired of not letting adik buat ghete of her barbie dolls. Kakak nie pun satu, one thing about her is she doesn't like sharing her things with adik, until I persuaded her. It so happened that kakak has 2 barbie dolls, one she willingly gave to adik, sebab apa tau, sebab dah buruk sikit...aiyoh.... Dah buruk, of coz la adik nak yang cantik kan... (as I am writing this, they are fighting over the barbies again)...this is a dialogue between kakak n adik fighting over a barbie once upon a day.
Kakak: bak la adik.........
Adik: (making "i-couldn't-care-less" face)
Kakak: bagi laaaa!! (kakak is getting agrier)
Me: (adeh budak2 nie gaduh pulak...den nak menulis nih!!)
I then turned around and face both of them.
Me: Apa kakak...
Kakak: adik nie laaa...ambil barbie orang...barbie dia ada, tak nak main...
Me: Ala...barbie aje...main la benda lain..
Kakak: Kakak nak barbie kakak....
Me: Adik...barbie adik mana?
Adik: Ada...
Me: Mana?
Adik: lam bilik....(sambil buat tak tau)
Me: gi la ambil barbie adik, bagi kakak balik barbie dia
Adik: OK... tapi adik nak main barbie kakak...
Kakak: (masam mencuka)
Me: (buat tak tau aje laaa)
Adik nie bukan ape, suka sangat sakat kakaknye. Tapi bila dia dah tengok kakak dia tarik muka 14, baru la dia bagi...hahahhahahah...dia tak kisah pun pasal barbie tu, she just wants her sister attention yo....
Next week the school reopen, sunyi balik la adik kat rumah nanti....

as for my kids, the fight does not stop until now, even if i buy 3 identical things, they will still have a way to see the difference and start fighting...tapi bila takde mmg sunyi ler rumah
i think the kids will keep on fighting over anything or everything until they are getting a bit older kan
