Yaya birthday party : The food

On the 4th day of Syawal, we held a small makan-makan event in relation to Yaya and Dina (Dina is my brother's youngest daughter) birthday. It was just a small feast, so we invited only relatives and close friends. All home cook meal. My sistah, the chef cooked laksa penang and nasi goreng cina, while others grill lambs and chicken.

So that morning, pagi-pagi lagi dah kuar gi pasar beli ikan n mee laksa, gi Giant beli ayam pieces. We have ordered marinated lamb shoulder a day before, but the thing will only be ready after 12pm. I marinated the chicken (under my sistah advise of course). The makan-makan thing started at 3pm. So atang has to went up and down to Giant to get the lamb and the birthday cake.

lalat pun datang tanpa jemputan, kena pasang lilin, yang kejap2 padam sebab ditiup angin.

the spread...

the BBQed lamb, chicken and sausges. Oh yes and ice-creams for all kids. Nothing much, alhamdullillah hampir semua licin. Total guest (approximate) 40+.
