Gatal garu la sendiri

Tangan gatal nak menaip kat sini, tapi masa tak mengizinkan pulak. Tambahan pula tak sesuai nak bercerita dekat sini sebab tema dah lari, am no longer in Brisbane laaa... so Brisbane story dah tamat dah....

Nanti la one day, one day I promise, inshaAllah, I will start writing again, tapi di rumah yang baru laaa... a new environment, a new surrounding, a new life, a new story to tell, thus need a new house.

p.s. still adjusting with the new routine especially the driving part. kenapa la malaysian driver hebat sangat, sampai kite kena buat kira-kira untuk buat ramalan dahulu sama ada driver kat depan nie nak masuk simpang ke, nak bagi kite lalu ke, dan tambah hebat lagi bila sambil memandu boleh text message lagi so bawak pun kejap laju kejap slow....adeh...tak terlawan kehebatan pemanduan malaysian driver. Maka tangan kanan saya pun sentiasa berada di tengah2 stereng bersiap sedia untuk membunyikan hon. Maaf atas kekasaran saya ya.

Semalam tengok Papadom

Semalam den tengok PapaDom. Fullhouse kengkawan.... Citer memang best giler. I guess nowadays with all the social problem out there, we tend to be over protective on our children. And I am totally agree with the storyline. Nothing superficial. Sedih pun ada, gua tangkap leleh babe...ahahahahha...

So korang, gi la tengok. Kalau tak, rugiiiiii. Seriusnye. Tapi korang, jangan la beli cetak rompak ye, tu ibarat mencuri. Jangan la mengayakan pihak-pihak yang tak bertanggungjawab tu, umpama parasit dan lintah. Kalau korang beli, korang pun macam parasit dan lintah gak.... Ingat!!

Tu dia...bukan apa, sokong la industri tempatan sikit. Kalau bukan kita, siapa lagi kan (sedih la bila dengar citer orang cetak rompak Upin dan Ipin tu....isssshhhhhhhhh)

Safe n Sound... tapi sendattttt..... perrghhhh

Dear friends/kengkawan,

We had a safe journey. Alhamdullillah no problem at the arrival hall. And we are in good health, except for minor jetlag experienced. One thing for sure both of us are bloated,ahahhaha.. for two reason. One due to the hot weather here, my hands and feet kembang, like a sponge soak in the water. I can't wear my wedding rings and my shoes are now in size 6 (need to buy a pair of new shoes for the conference).

Second, is because of the makan-makan agenda that my mom and siblings prepared. Saturday's dinner, pucuk ubi lemak, ayam kurma, sambal tempoyak, and ikan masin. The next day breakfast, roti canai tobing, lunch bento at ichiban ramen, then KFC for dinner. Second day breakfast nasi lomak sambal potai, lunch at Alamanda secret recipe, dinner at my sistah's place of arab chicken and mutton nasi beryani. And this morning breakfast, pulut with sambal potai. And now I am smelling a wonderful smell of ikan masak lomak cili api. wakakakakkak.... My family loves us so much, we gave them junk food to make them fat, and in exchange they prepared us with scrumptious meals that will make us not just fat but lazy and sleepy too :D

OK enough of rambling...my angels are waiting for me upstairs for a game on PS. Owwhhh I made I big mistake of accidently leaving my camera cable behind. Will ask abah if his cable fits my camera. Need to pack for tonight journey. Am leaving fro Hyderabad at 10pm.

See you soon.

The birth-day of one of the most important person in my life

Tu dia panjang tajuk entry kali nie :p

Today is my mom special day. We wish her wealth and health, and most importantly she is always under Allah blessing.

Happy Birthday Mak. We love you endlessly (sayu la pulak...sob sob)

Ok, am not typing emo things here. Mak will not read this anyway, coz she is not into computer. I want to share with you of an online service that I used to send gifts for Mak on her birthday. But first, here is the story on how I came across this online service. This is the third year I celebrated Mak's birthday away from her. The first year I actually didn't do anything. Not even sending her a birthday card (and I regretted it so much). Was busy settling down, well actually, it kinda slip away from my mind of getting Mak something. Not that I forgot her birthday, will never do that, will never forgive myself if I did it (mane tau in the future), but it just that at that time I didn't know what to do. So there was nothing special from us on her birthday, only a phone call that has became a weekly routine (twice a week) since we arrived here.

So last year, I was browsing the internet, a few weeks before Mak's birthday, and I came across several online gift shops that provide delivery service door-to-door. I compared prices and delivery option, and found a website that is reasonable for my budget. Nobody knew about it, hehehe, I even kept it secret from my sistah. And it has been a custom for us, siblings to celebrate our parents birthday, trying our best to meet on weekends (if the birthday do not falls on weekend, we will celebrate prior to the day). So on that day, my family was suprise of the gift. And that was my intention. Both Mak and my sistah love the gift. My sistah said it was huge, pretty flowers with fresh fruits. Good.

And for my sistah birthday last september, I sent her a flower and fruit basket, using the same online gift shop. I am satisfied with their service.

What online gift shop I am talking about? Here it is, Love.com.my. Click on the picture to browse their shop.

This year I tried finding different option, but still I found Love.com.my is the best. They even sent me an email reminding about Mak's birthday a few weeks before the important day, making a good rapport, taking care of their customers ya :D .

So for those who are living abroad, who are thinking of getting/sending your love ones at home (malaysia), to celebrate special occasions, to represent yourself, to show love, etc. Click on Love.com.my

(am posting another testimonial on their website soon)

Book review : "Honk if you're Malaysian"

I saw this book in my dad's study room. "Abah, best ke buku nie?". "Baca lah, it is funny, Along yang bagi abah tu." OK, what ever Along (my sistah) reads is always good, though sometimes is too heavy for me. My sistah and also my brother have this fondness of reading books about politics, conspiracy (eg. books from Jeffry Archer, John Grisham), that I can never or will never like to read (cik, I know you like John Grisham, pardon me aaa). I only love triller, horror and mystery books, that is why my fav authors are Stephen King and Patricia Cornwell. But lately I am into chic-lit after reading Madeleine Wickham aka Sophie Kinsella's shopaholic series.

Anyway back to this book. I found it funny, easy to read, and agreed with most of the story that Lydia wrote in this book. However, I personally think that what ever Lydia potrayed in the book can't represent the whole population. Lydia only wrote about her experience, things that happened around her, and life in the city. There is more about Malaysian than what Lydia has wrote in the book. Nonetheless what Lydia wrote is not wrong, only not accurate.

But I enjoyed the book. If you are looking for a light reading, I suggest you go with this book.

p/s: This is only my opinion. I do not receive any incentive for writing this review (ke ada yang nak bagi gegegegege).

Biskut raya itu...sungguh sedap

I have drafted this entry on Wednesday, 24th Sept. Kira entry basi la nie...tapi kena publish..sebab....

-------------------------
Right now, I am at my office, creating this entry. I have no internet connection at VSP. Lain rasanya bila tak duduk depan komputer yang ada internet connection. Kalau kat Brisbane tu, almost 24/7 online. hahahahhah... But I need to stay at VSP for a while. Have many things to be done, before heading back to Seremban.

Yesterday, I called up Liza Norm. I have ordered some biskut raya and kerepek from her. Last night Liza came to VSP to deliver the kuih raya. Dah lama tak jumpe Liza, last I saw her at jasin, '93. But, she still looks the same. Liza need to rush to the pasar malam, so we just had a brief chat. Met with her cuties. Liza, anak-anak u well behave ye.... cakap sekali aje...bagus-bagus...hehehehhe... mesti omak garang kat umah..gegegege...

Back to the biskut raya story. After Liza, we went up to our apartment, and after putting down Athirah, ku dengan tak sabarnye, telah membuka pelekat-pelekat di tutup botol biskut raya itu.... Oh yes. I ordered Fancy Ice-cream and Sarang Semut.... memang sedap.... betul-betul sedap... kalau ikut napsu..mau abis 1/4 daripada balang kuih itu.... Sib baik Athirah bising nak tido...Kalau tak.....hmmmmmmm....

Yummy, wanna try? Too late..hahaha.... Maybe you guys could order for next raya. Liza kata sume sedap. So Liza, next raya post ke Australia boleh??? hehhehehe

Balik kampung : Episode 10 : the journey

that morning I got up at 2 am. Just had 2 hours of sleep before that. Took my bath, dress up, woke up atang and yaya. With just a single shoke, yaya woke up. The excitement of going back to Malaysia was immediately shown on her face. It is not easy to wake up yaya. Sib baik she made no hassle that morning. Then thirah woke up because of the commotion.

After sahur, it was time for final checkup. Luggages were line up near the door. Later, perform subuh, than atang took down all the luggages to Lan's garage. Lan has offered to sent us to the airport. We left the house at little past 5 am. Spring is here in Brisbane, so it was not that dark outside.

At 20 past 6, we arrived at Coolangatta airport. Check-in, and we board the flight at around 8 am. The flight departed as schedule 8.40am Brisbane time.

This was our first time travelling with AirAsia. And I am glad that we travelled with AirAsia. Cost wise we are comfortable with it. Cuma travel ngan baby was a bit challenging and tiring.

Unlike MAS, where they have limited menu, AirAsia offered a variety of food. Since yaya tak puasa (she always claimed that she is), I ordered her chicken gourmet sandwich...which according to her..."sedap la mak".... cuma yang kelakarnye.... order food..lepas tu kena bayar...gegegeggege.....order air...bayar....

Athirah was restless. Yela orang dah merangkak and memanjat....kena constraint mengamuk sahaja laaa... so atang and me have to take turn of dukung thirah. She only had a bit of sleeping. Penat betul....

We landed 5 minutes early, @ 3.05pm Malaysia time. It took 8 hours and a half to get to Malaysia. Rasa kaki dah lembik dah.....Abah came to pick us up. Once yaya saw her atok, she immediately scream and ran to atok. What a happy moment.
